Legacies - a gift for the future
Legacies are vital for the future of the working animals entrusted to our care. They fund almost half of our work and help us treat nearly 160,000 of the 400,000 animals we see each year.
To end the suffering of working animals for good, we need to look to the future. We must ensure that we have the resources needed to ease their pain, or better still, prevent it from occurring in the first place.
Please consider leaving a gift in your Will to SPANA. In doing so you will continue to help us treat working animals as long as they need it, teach owners how to care for donkeys and horses, and equip vets with the specialist knowledge so that they can provide the best possible care.
A gift of any size will help make the world a better place for working animals, and the families that depend on them.
What to do next
Updating your Will
If you already have a Will and would like to include a gift to SPANA you can simply add a Codicil to update it.
Making your Will
Including a gift in your will is easier than you might think and will give you peace of mind knowing that you have taken care of loved ones and causes close to your heart. It will also mean that your estate is divided up according to your wishes and that your friends and family will not be burdened with difficult decisions.
You can have a look at our legacy brochure here or email us at legaciesnotification@spana.org to request a legacy pack that contains more information on leaving a gift to SPANA and answers important questions.
