With your support we can give working animals and the people who depend on them a better future.

Some people think of SPANA as an animal charity that helps people. Others think we are a people charity that helps animals.

SPANA's CEO Jeremy Hulme and other staff members write from the front lines of our work, taking in everything from the Chelsea Flower show to the drought in Chad.

Challenges abroad

Do you think you could scale the heights of Mount Kilimanjaro? Or do you see yourself cycling across Peru to Machu Picchu, the fabled "Lost City of the Incas”? Or how about trekking the world-famous Great Wall of China? You could even visit one of the countries that SPANA works in, crossing the majestic Sahara Desert to reach Marrakech.

By taking on a Discover Adventure Open Challenge you could be travelling to the far reaches of the world, whilst also taking part in a challenge especially organised for people to fundraise for their chosen charity.

The trips are designed to provide a challenge so you will need to build a good level of fitness but you can choose from Moderate, Tough or even Extreme for those with real stamina!

Visit www.discoveradventure.co.uk for more information on the challenges available. You can also contact our fundraising team on 020 7269 2696 or email us.
