With your support we can give working animals and the people who depend on them a better future.

Some people think of SPANA as an animal charity that helps people. Others think we are a people charity that helps animals.

SPANA's CEO Jeremy Hulme and other staff members write from the front lines of our work, taking in everything from the Chelsea Flower show to the drought in Chad.

Give a big gift

Major donors and charitable trusts help us treat around 400,000 sick and injured animals each year and provide essential animal welfare education for owners and children.

Give towards general funds

We are very grateful to all our supporters and charitable trusts that fund SPANA’s core work – our veterinary, education and emergency programmes.

Support a specific project

You may prefer to support part of, or even an entire, project and help to get pilot projects off the ground, expand existing projects and conduct innovative research. Also, large donations are particularly important where grants are contingent on match funding.

We have a wide range of projects, so if there is an area of work that you are particularly interested in, we can help you to find a project to suit you.

To learn more please contact Caroline Francis, Major Gift Manager, at carolinefrancis@spana.org or 020 7269 2686.

We will keep you informed of the progress of your project and the difference your donation will make. If appropriate, we can also arrange for you to visit the project and see the difference that your donation has made.
