Humane Education Advisor (Outreach and Monitoring)

SPANA operates a small grants funding scheme for outreach partners to develop their own humane education programmes. In this role the successful applicant will have specific responsibility for managing all aspects of the education departments outreach programme.

We are now seeking to appoint a personable individual with excellent organisational skills to fulfil this important and wide ranging brief. Given the unusual range of competencies asked of in this role we also invite applications from less experienced candidates with lower salary expectations who are prepared to develop the necessary skills in post.

Humane Education Advisor (Professional Development)

We are seeking to appoint an energetic and charismatic individual to drive our aim of increasing the capacity for high quality humane education across all the countries where SPANA operates. Key responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Develop SPANA’s International Certificate in Humane Education (ICHE) and other relevant professional training courses.
  • Deliver of the ICHE programme and other relevant professional training courses.
  • Train and support SPANA’s Education Officers to deliver the ICHE in local languages.
  • Support the development of networks of professional humane educators.
