New - December 2007 - SPANA in MauritaniaFind out how our campaign to end the cruel beating of donkeys in Mauritania is progressing. November 2007 - SPANA in Eastern ChadA SPANA team has just returned from a second trip to Eastern Chad having visisted the area at the invitation of the United Nations. There are real problems affecting the animals belonging to the many refugees who have fled Darfur, and SPANA has been working with them to try and develop some lasting solutions. (Apologies for lack of sound on this segment - we will be editing it again next week and hope to resolve the problem!)

November 2006 - SPANA in JordanSPANA's unique educational centre in the centre of Jordan's capital Amman, and our refuge and clinic in Wadi Seer are highlighted in this short film taken by Jeremy Hulme. The educational centre is particularly well-loved by schoolchildren, who learn about so many aspects of nature and conservation during their visits. You'll also see some of the in-patients at our busy clinic in Wadi Seer, including a donkey foal who seems to enjoy the attention of the camera!
