SPANA in action
Since 1923 SPANA’s veterinary, education and emergency work protects animals and helps the families that depend on them. One day we hope that our work will have set an end to animal cruelty and suffering. Until then there is a lot of work waiting for us every single day.

Last year we asked for your help to set up a new moblie clinic in Mauritania. Now it's up and running thanks to you.
This chirstmas save a donkeys life by giving them a tetanus vaccination.
Back in 2007, we launched an appeal to raise money for a headcollar project for donkeys in Mauritania. And earlier this year we had a chance to check up on the progress of this project.
In the 1920s, Marshal Lyautey, the French Governor of Morocco said “Morocco is a cold country with a hot sun”. This especially true during the winter months in the Middle Atlas Mountains, in the eastern part of the country.
